While at work last week several co-workers and I were walking to a meeting and we started discussing television shows we used to watch as a child. Me being 32 means that this would land roughly in the mid to late 80's and early 90's. I could rattle off too many tv shows which indicates I spent way too much time in front of the picture box as a child but three of my favorites were
Matlock,
Murder She Wrote and the
Golden Girls. This elicited a round of snickering from my co-workers. Rightly so. I'm a bit frightened that three of my favorite shows were also a big hit with the nursing home crowd. And if I'm brutally honest I kind of had a thing for
Blanche Devereaux. Ahh well. Time to go watch Designing Women.
